As an outsider to the pharmaceutical field, I can only tell the story of the pain that I felt for my sister as I saw her gradually degrading. Carla was an exceptional student and the heart of every party she went to. In 2012, at the age of 16, she had a snowboarding accident, leaving her with chronic pain.
