As i was carrying a game of thrones book down the corridors of the toronto subway after just peeling myself out if reading a few pages hopping off the bus, i thought to myself i am holding an entire world in my hand; this little rectangle in my hands. With people i feel i know personally and care about deeply. And in an instant when i sit down i can leave this sterile place and go right back to it. I dont get that feeling from the e books on my phone. Its just not the same. Books seem to have a soul. Im not sure i want to live in a world where they have gone away completely.
