As long as I have been a bleedin Bicycle rider I have had to contend with pedestrian dickheads, ignorant Taxi and Bus drivers and general travel wankers..people who are desperate to get to where they are going and who hate everything, even kittens and small children. I got to thinking , what the feckin hell is wrong with people, tonight a goober in a Duffys circus flapping high viz anorak started shouting at us, I just thought he was like the Monster Shouter from The Stand, Carol tells me he was shouting at us to ride in single file , he was cycling down the Hill on killiney as we were going up it. Why I have no idea ! then Gareth apparently got into a handbag bash with a jogger, who actually pushed him. If somebody pushed me when I was on my bike I would bate the living daylights out of them..Gareth is well bigger than me but is a nice man from South Africa ,where they have to deal with giant spiders and lions and stuff, he probably thought your man was trying to get off with him ! Anyway , what is it Facebookers that makes the slow and the frustrated travellers hate us, I hear similiar stories everyday ! Personally I think they hate the way we appear out of nowhere like Ghost Ninjas..silent atavistic self propelled wanderers...I dont get accosted much , possibly due to the moustache and the facial scarring and the crazy eyes and the Tattoos and the bare arms in the Winter and the growling !
