As many know, I have a very close friend who plays a key role in the success of the Delaney House/Log Cabin establishments. So when this article posted it immediately caught my attention. I reached out to find out what happened and did some research on what exactly Salmonella is. 1st I found out how professional the management and staff handled this situation. They immediately took every step required to contain this situation... In fact they went above and beyond to make sure thier staff and guests were out of harms way. Im very impressed in the manner they went about this. It really shows how much they care about the safety of its staff and guests. 2nd I learned a little about Salmonella. To my surprise this is something that is part of our day to day lives. It happens at our own homes and happens in restaurants. Clearly people only hear about it in restaurants and thats because the media makes everyone aware. If you think about all the other restaurants in the past that have been involved with a Salmonella case; you will remember that they dont let up on it. It gets dragged out for months at a time until its either contained or the business is hit so hard financially that they have to close thier doors. This article was one and done. Again Im impressed. They found out they had a problem and they attacked it to insure safety. To me this says a lot about a business. I stand behind the management and staff at the Delaney House and Log Cabin! My wife and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding day there, Ive been to several functions they have hosted (game dinner is my favorite!), and I plan on going back whenever I can! I normally dont post things like this but I want to show MY continued support in the hopes that everyone else does the same! I leave you with this, Let me tell you something you already know. The world aint all sunshine and rainbows. Its a very mean and nasty place and I dont care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it aint about how hard ya hit. Its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.
