As many of you will have seen a few weeks ago I announced that I was closing the Proud to be a Villan page down. Well the time has come and this will be my final post. This account will be deleted in 24 hours time. The pressures of a demanding job and expanding family mean I am no longer able to dedicate the time needed to make this page what I want it to be (since I set up the page I have gotten married and I have my 2nd Villan due in a few months). I would like to thank a few people who have helped me over the years. Firstly Kenny Oldham, who helped to admin the page in its formative days and played a big part in helping to establish us. To Al Smith who more recently has helped to admin the page when he could. A big thank you to Jonathan Fear from Vital Villa who has been a great source of advice and help over the years, indeed it was Jonathan who agreed to host our website free of charge, a very humbling individual whos help has been invaluable. I would like to thank the club, and specifically Paul Faulkner and Nicola Keye for a pleasant working relationship. The 4 years since this page was set up has certainly been a roller coaster, boring it has not been! I hope in the near future the club can be restored to its former glory and rightful place in the league.
