As mom who is passionate about both breastfeeding and about just feeding your baby what is best, whether that is formula, breastmilk, cows milk, soy milk...whatever it may be for you and your family....we must remember that being a parent is what matters most! Motherhood is already hard as it is! Men dont understand what mothers feel and vice versa. As moms, we should build each other up, rather than knock each other down. I had a mom in a moms group knock me down for posting a picture that I was PROUD of. I was at the Texas vs OU game in cold weather nursing little mama covered up, but so proud that in the sea of burnt orange, older men behind me, and young college kids in front of me, I was nursing my baby. This mom made the comment: Oh and I like my face to be covered when I eat my dinner too. Instead of applauding me for not realizing how challenging it was for me to do that, she tore me apart. The way I choose to feed my baby is not her choice, its mine. If I wasnt feeing my baby, then she should have reason of concern.
