As most of you know and those who truly know me I am a private person and not generally one to show my true burdens and emotions. Recently my family found out my Papa has cancer. Hes 81 years old and has been a huge huge part of my life. I was his first grand baby. He is such a wonderful grandfather and an icon in our family. You can never prepare yourself enough for this kind of news and sadness that has overwhelmed us all. He was diagnosed with lupus when I was young and we almost lost him then. He has put up a hell of a fight throughout his life. Whether it meant working hard for his family taking care and doing whatever he could to make our lives better in anyway to holding you when your life was in utter chaos and giving love to us all unconditionally to just knowing he was there whenever I needed him day or night. I wont give up on him ever because he never gave up on us. I cant put into words how much this man means to me. It breaks my heart to hear this news. He has taught me to be strong and carry my head high but also be humbled enough to admit to my faults and mistakes with courage. This will be hard and will be difficult for him and our family but we will ride this storm out like all of the others in the past and stick by eachother side because thats what family does. I will reflect on great times and all the love he gave me throughout my entire life and remain as positive as I can. I ask that you all say prayers for him and my family during this time. I thank you all for being a part of my life and always being here for me. Friends and family near and far I thank you. I am blessed to have such an amazing circle and support team.
