As part of my 4 weeks photography volunteer program in South Africa, we spent a lot of time following and tracking the cheetahs. This was during a cold day on the end of our safari drive when we got a sight of the two males. I loved the look he had, not caring about a jeep truck with volunteers watching him, but him watching out in the distance for his next meal. A volunteer friend lent me his 150-500mm Sigma lens for me to take this shot. One thing I learnt being in the wild, you absolutely must have, at least, a 200mm lens. lightandcomposition/photo-of-the-day-october-31-cheetahs-on-the-lookout-by-bashar-alaeddin/
