As per the challenge set by Kathy McGee, I present 8 random things people might not know about me. RETSU GO 1. When I was a kid, I used to use the screen-in-screen option of our old TV to trace screencaps from Darkwing Duck. Id place a piece of tracing paper on the screen and use a permanent marker to copy the image. 2. These screencaps were then converted to pics based off my DW Duck-based version of Phantom of the Opera. Yes I have been writing fanfiction for many years. That particular story included my one and only self-insert. 3. I have no problem encouraging others with writing. However, my confidence sometimes dissipates whenever I browse a book store and I see whats selling. 4. I was the only kid in my freshman English class to be excited over receiving a book report the first day of school. The book we were assigned was called A Patch of Blue. 5. Seventh and eighth grade were my hardest years in school, not because of academics but because I was constantly picked on by other girls. Its not fun when you are forced to slide your chair into the back of the classroom because girls were checking you for head lice. Yes, I had head lice when I was in elementary school. No, it does not mean I was a dirt child. It only means those people were insensitive assholes. 6. Despite this, I actually really loved my graduating class. Things changed for me around my sophomore year. I couldnt tell you why or when. But Im not going out of my way to stay in touch with everyone, either. 7. I keep a select few in my confidence. I can be difficult to get to know, because I dont trust easily. 8. I dated my first boyfriend solely on the fact that someone had challenged me about not being able to hold a serious relationship. I was quite impetuous in my younger days. Its not something Im proud of.
