As promised, heres a series of precipitation forecast panels off the National Weather Services impressive HRRR 3km resolution short term model beginning at 1PM Saturday afternoon and ending at 9pm this evening. These lay out that models take on potential precip development. A final HRRR forecast panel depicts the models projection of accumulated rainfall over that period. Its an interesting sequence. These forecasts offer a best-guess on the lay-out of precip and are best used as indicators of forecast trends.
