As seen on Facebook by everyone, Im sure, there was break-ins in Premont or shall I say it the COUNTY jurisdiction of Premont. People have VERY quickly thrown Premont PD Chief and officers under the bus about them NOT doing their job! Break-ins are very unpredictable and criminals strike as they please. PPD, NOR the county officers can determine the times, dates and places these thieves will strike next. But, again, people in this town are SO quick to start criticizing the chief and the PPD officers. How about giving credit and praise for the break-ins that have been solved along with the other crimes and illegal activities that have been taken care of? As far as PPD being responsible for the criminals bailing out, from my understandings, the criminal will have to appear in court in order to be sentenced to jail time, correct me if Im wrong. People in this town are so quick to point fingers and to talk crap about others, when there is nothing really they can do to change things. If the county would send MORE officers to patrol the COUNTY, maybe things like this wouldnt happen around the county. I also understand the frustration, angry, and hurt of the owners of the places of the properties that were broken into. You worked hard for you things just like a normal person does... Some people just dont care how hard youve worked, how many hours youve put into it, how much money youve spent to get to where you are now BUT that still doesnt give YOU the right to throw people under the bus that again, have nothing they can do about the current situation. Ill finish with this, YES the Chief is my uncle & YES I will stand up for him along with the PPD!!!
