The longer you wait on the first shampoo, the more it will be locked in. Shampooing is only recommended every few days. Dry Shampoo or a brush sprinkled with talc powder can reduce any oiliness. ~ Avoid chlorinated pools, salt water and prolonged exposure to sunlight. ~ When shampooing, separate colored pieces (if possible) to reduce risk of bleeding of color. ~ Use cooler water temperatures on your hair. Heat will expand the hair and let color out. ~ The condition of your hair will affect the longevity, vibrancy & intensity of your hair color. If your hair is very porous & damaged, it will not hold as well.
