As the gaffer probably has no recollection of Saturdays game a few thoughts. Starting with the positives, we got off to a fantastic start and we scored some great goals. For 25 minutes at the start and ten minutes at the end we also looked an organised side capable of winning the game comfortably. The bit in between ( which all happened when Andy Archer was off the pitch so no blame can be attached to him) was pretty shambolic. Daft goals conceded, bickering among ourselves, with the ref, with the opposition, and just a general lack of discipline. We have shown we can be competitive in games at this level, its just daft 10 minutes here and there where we switch off and get punished. We are at Richmond this Saturday, with arguably our two best players from the other day missing. This will mean opportunities for a couple of players who havent started recently which is no bad thing. I think everyone else can be thankful we dont have a massive squad cos there werent many at the weekend who can hand on heart say they were at their absolute best. I think it was two points dropped Saturday rather than a point gained, so we could do with making up for it this week !
