As we head into Thanksgiving week, we want to a take a moment and thank you our fans for all that you do to support FHL! We are so appreciative of your donations of money for our grants and scholarships. So far this year we have been able to donate over $4,000 in the forms of scholarship and grants and over $35,000 in donations since 2006. Thank you for your donations of prom dresses for our Gowns for Girls Event. This year we were able to help over 80 girls get a FREE prom dress and accessories to attend their special night. In the past eight years we have helped over 600 girls attend prom FREE of charge! To those that volunteer to be dress drop off locations we thank you! To our amazing friends and family that attend our events, and to those that are always first to sign up to help out at Gowns for Girls and the Timberman we thank you, we couldnt do it without you! Thank you to Kelsey and Suzanna for putting on the dance fundraiser for us and to Erin McDonough for inspiring them. To the Plymouth Methodist Church for the amazing donations and allowing us to speak and attend your events. Thank you to all the local businesses that consistently give to our raffles and auctions. Thank you to the amazing local media who always cover our events and help us spread faith, hope and love! Thank you to Plymouth State for your continued support of our organization and the alumni who we work with in the community. And finally thank you to our amazing Board of Directors who meet monthly, who plan and implement events, and who put 100% of their hearts into the organization and the community to help those children and youth suffering from hunger, homelessness and poverty. For all of this and much more we are grateful. Thank you for believing in us and helping us affect positive change one child at a time!
