As weve seen, BP continues to run ads across the networks assuring us of their efforts to repair damages caused by the DWH oil spill and how they will apply what they have learned to prevent this from happening again. Have they forgotten that we already know that Federal investigators have concluded cost-cutting by BP and shoddy work by all three companies caused the blowout.? Have we forgotten that the entire reason for the Settlement was to avoid the possibility of their being found guilty of gross negligence and paying an even more substantial fine? Dont be fooled by the PR rhetoric.......BP is money motivated and want to pay as little as they possibly can and want us to applaud them for it.
