As you may have heard, our Elementary and Middle School had a Lock Out situation today. Parents were notified via the SchoolMessenger system. Students observed something they thought seemed suspicious and reported it. The schools were placed on Lock Out and police were notified and responded. They identified the situation as a veteran who was part of a color guard ceremony for a nearby funeral who had a wooden replica of a service arm. We applaud the students for being observant and acting on their instincts and reporting their observation.
