Ashton Kutcher just posted to his 18 million FB followers about Cashel and our video! His exact comment: SPEECHLESS. Tell us what YOU think. You won’t find a more INSPIRING video than this young man who can’t move, breathe, eat or talk on his own – yet with one finger types a message to remind us that we are ALL perfect as we are. Cashel Gardner is a 17-year-old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disorder which paralyzes muscles and causes them to weaken over time. Although he can’t move, breathe, or eat on his own, he uses a digital voice synthesizer to speak. Only able to use one finger, he communicates with the world using his computer keyboard. Despite all of the challenges he faces, he has a big heart filled with inspiration. He embraces all of who he is with passion, pride, and positive energy. An Ambassador of Everyone Matters, Cashel wanted to make a video - with assistance! - encouraging others to know they should be proud of who they are, AS THEY ARE. He wanted to share his belief that we are all as we are meant to be - and that we should ALL embrace ourselves, for who we are, as we are, with pride. Please feel complete and perfect for who you are, Cashel tells us. Watch and share this AMAZING video - a testament to LIFE. If you cant watch it here, you can watch it on YouTube here: goo.gl/gW39Li We at Everyone Matters think this is one of the most powerfully-inspiring videos weve ever seen - and a reminder that, whatever our own challenges, there is a way to find joy, peace, gratitude - and pride in what makes us who we are, individually. We all matter. We all have a voice to share with the world. Cashel, typing a single finger, shared with Everyone Matters: I was not supposed to live to be 2 years old. I know I can make a difference in the world and I am doing it all from my bed with the use of one finger. Everyone Matters! Join Cashel and our growing community who believe that Everyone Matters. The video was directed by Brian Weidling, edited by Kyle Johnston, with music by Derrik Balogh. It was produced by Tumbleweed Entertainment, for Everyone Matters.
