Asking for prayers for my friend, Carolyn. We worked together in the ER in Vegas. On Tuesday one of her 1 year old twins, Aly, went into cardiac arrest from a virus that caused myocarditis. She was flown from Vegas to Loma Linda, CA. Alys heart is not functioning, she is on a heart/lung bypass machine (the pic below is Aly all packed up for her flight). They are in CA now, but her parents are not allowed to stay with her, only short bedside visits-not even a chair to sit in in the room, just hanging around the waiting room. Aly has a 1/3 chance of recovery with aggressive treatment. We have all asked Carolyn how we can help, what we can do, all she asks is that we Hug your own children extra tight today and just pray So, whether you know Carolyn or not, please say a prayer for her Aly Girl.
