Asking me to care about bill nye arguing from the viewpoint of a scientist on tv is like asking me to listen to Sheldens opinion on quantum theory. Just because someone looks and plays science doesnt mean they are qualified to have an opinion. as much as an astronomer has an opinion on theology let them study things before they try to have an opinion on them. I respect no atheist scientismist opinion on theology for the same reason a quantum physicist would consider an engineer qualified to debate his work. You have no legs to stand on when you approach a topic with little or no understanding but plenty of assumptions.
