Assalamun alaikum. Let me seize dis opotunity to remind my felo bro n sis abt d holy prophets ahadith who so ever fasted in Ramadan and folowed it up with the 6 fasting in shawwal shall b reward as if he fasted 4 a whole year....some Scholars insist dat all fasting days misssed out during Ramadan must b repayed b4 considering sittul shawwal, while oda scholars restrict the idea to male and permit female to fast sittul shawaal b4 repaying missed days of Ramadan....BUT, the most important of opinions is to follow the ahadith of Aisha (RA) who said that: she do repay her prevously missed Ramadan fast even in another shaban (d next year) i.e just a month b4 another Ramadan. Even d Holy Quran dint specify wen to repay d missed out Ramadan fast as it only said ...missed-out days of Ramadan should b repayed in other days....felo bro n sis, dis is indeed liberty from Almigty Allah so dt we wont b over bordened, never d less we should fear Allah and not to abuse His favour with Laxity. No one knows wen angel of death will visit, so why waste time b4 comencing ur sittul shawwal or paying back of the compulsory Ramadan fast u missed out. May Allah have mercy on us, 4giv our sins and accept all our ibadat in Ramadan.
