At 6:30 I fed at 9pm I did my nightly check and Sencha was in her kidding cottage with a baby still covered in sac. No warning, no stress. If I were a betting gal I would have lost big time! She had NO signs of impending birth. But what a wonderful momma. She was cleaning her baby and nickering softly to her. Within 30 min she was pushing baby to get milk and Tigerlily was quick to get it ;) momma got a nice warm drink of Magic which she was grateful for. We tied off and clipped Tigerlilys cord and dipped it in Goldenseal. Put on a warm knit sweater...it was cold last night. They are looking good this morning :) we are surprised and thrilled. Hope the other two get the hint! ;)
