At Issue - Guilt Over Sin Acts 3:19-20 Have you ever felt the weight of guilt pulling you down? It feels like a burden that you’re forced to carry. It becomes an unwanted, but unavoidable, part of who you are. But it doesn’t have to be that way. All you have to do is repent and turn to God. Turn away from your sin and turn to him, and your sin will be “wiped out”—not cut in half, not slightly smudged—it will be completely removed, gone forever. Then times of refreshing will come. Don’t you want sweet refreshment for your soul to replace that bitter weight you’ve carried?
