At Thanksgiving this year - of all times - the IRS put a levy on all of her accounts for a matter from 2008. She begged them to research their accusation and after someone at the IRS did, they lifted the levy. However, the IRS drained all of the money out of her accounts BEFORE they lifted the levy and HAVE NOT returned her money. So the question of the day is this: if she had been an African-American political activist who is inciting racial hatred in our country and owes the IRS over four million dollars, would this have happened to her? The answer is very simple: because she is not Al Sharpton, but a white conservative political figure active in the Tea Party movement, someone in the Obama Administration signed off on this cowardly, illegal, and reprehensible attack. It was not a mistake, it was not a glitch it was not an oversight - it was a deliberate targeting of an American because of their political beliefs. Does this trouble any of the supporters of President Obama? Does this abuse of federal power create any questions in the minds of those who believe he is the greatest president of all time. And please - do not tell me that since the President did not do this directly that he is not responsible. Being president means that you are responsible for what the Federal government does - especially when its agencies are used to conduct political warfare against those who disagree with you.
