At least my last morning at AETAS Bangkok was eventful! After - TopicsExpress

At least my last morning at AETAS Bangkok was eventful! After having my bags picked up from my room and still twenty minutes until a car arrived to take me to the airport, I headed down to breakfast. After finishing my amazing omelette and crispy bacon, nature called. I walked over to the restrooms and into a toilet with a door facing into the main dining room. I locked the door, went about my business, washed my hands and then went to unlock the door, when, to my dismay, I realised it would not open. I pushed it and I pulled it. I could see it was not a pull, as there was a big piece of timber blocking its ability to open toward me. It must be a push, I thought. Anyone who knows me, knows Im ridiculously claustrophobic, so after calmly clicking the lock back and forth and pushing and pulling the door fairly firmly, panic set in. It was a huge, heavy door, with a solid lock and I could see even when unlocked it was still attached at the top somehow. I started to knock on the door and waited for assistance. I considered calling the hotel reception from my mobile. Then I began to BANG on the door and YELL help!!!! Im stuck!!No response, I yelled louder... I banged louder, the lock is stuck! Helloooo, please help?!!! Finally, a young gentleman from the hotel came to my aid, at almost exactly the same time as I realised it was not a push/pull door... it was a sliding door. So slide I did, and out I came. Everyone in the breakfast room looked around to see what the calamity had been... lock was stuck, I said.
