At the declaration made by General Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, Chief Audu Ogbeh in his bid to sell the candidacy of his new found hero and mentor, Buhari, he labeled Christians who are accusing former Head of State, a religious fanatic Pharisees. He went further saying, They are not more Christians than us... He named some Christians within the APC to buttress his point. He was so carried away by the crowd that he allowed his tongue to betray his party when he said the Bring Back Our Girls campaigners are APC leaders. That we all know. Well said sir. If I need to set the record straight, It was not the Christians that put a fanatic label on his mentor but his action. To remind Ogbeh the unguarded utterances of his hero that led to that. 1. Buhari at the launching of Sharia law in Zamfara during the era of President Olusegun Obasanjo asked Muslims to vote Muslims, He later corrected the report saying What I said in Hausa was that people should vote for candidates who could defend their faith. 2. In 2010 in Kaduna, he vowed to join those who are spreading Sharia law in the country to see that it is a nationwide programme. 3. Buhari was the only member of the National Council of State who denied the statement made by Obasanjo that the Council had stopped the launching of Sharia in Nigeria. At the meeting were IBB, Abdulsalami and Atiku. 4. Buhari has accused President Jonathan of killing my brothers in the North when President Yar Adua used presidential jet to bring Jonathans brother to Abuja to be given amnesty! 5. Buhari has accused President Jonathan of destroying the North in the name of fighting terrorism and asked him to stop it. Ogbeh should advise his hero to tender unreserved apology to Christians because those facts are historical. Nobody hates Buhari but he should withdraw all his anti-Christians utterances because they are waiting for him at the poll.
