Attached imagery compilation by the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory (Little SDO) captures the M5.1 solar flare around regions 2172 / 2173. Also included is the GOES-15 Solar X-Ray data, along with the Global D-Layer Absorption data as monitored during the flare event. When watching the event using the AIA 193 angstroms channel, a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) appears probable, but will likely be directed mostly to the south and west.
