Attending the RANZCOG Indigenous Womens Health Meeting in Adelaide where I have two presentations: 1. Findings from the BRRACAP Study to date and 2. about PSRH and the challenges of building capacity and improving maternal and neonatal outcomes in the Pacific. The Australia government has been a major development partner (through direct and indirect funding) of our training workshops to skill and build capacity in the Pacific. The recent funding constraints in Australia will mean that we have to explore opportunities for working collaborations, delivery partnerships and alternative funding sources to deliver the same or better services to our members and better maternal health services in the region. We are preparing to become an educational provider in the Pacific as one way of improving our chances to attract funding.
