August 21, 2014 -- Gage and Grandma Marla went on a field trip today to Wichita. They decided to go to Exploration Place. They went to all the exhibits and watched the movie. Gage was pretty excited when they were the only 2 watching the movie and had the whole theater to themselves. Gages favorite exhibit was flying the planes. He also came home with a few treats. He got 2 stones 1 that says Relax and the other says Healing. He also got a Superman bobble head. All things to help him fight. They went and ate at HuHot and he ate a good meal. While at Exploration Place Gage saw some familiar faces, Annie Swisher, her son and Grandma. Gage enjoyed visiting with them. They barely made it back to Pratt before heading to Grandma Taylors for Stampin Up card night. Gage helped make the cards tonight and had fun. Lionel and Drew came to town to pick up a few things for tomorrow night and picked up Gage. When I got home, I gave Gage his last dose of IV chemo for the week and deaccessed his port. He did really well tonight. He has not felt bad all day and has gone nonstop all day and still going strong. It sounds like he and Grandma have next week planned too so stayed tuned for their final adventures of the summer.
