Aussies Poseiden has located debris in southern Indian Ocean via satellite imagery. Considered to be reliable. If true, they could recover black box very soon. The most popular assumption is that the Pilots hijacked the plane, turned off the transponder, entered new waypoints and codes in the Flight Management system that led to the plane taking a sharp detour west. Pilot suicide, fire on board, seem unlikely given the facts known. I think there are three plausible scenarios, and once the FBI releases the omitted files of the Captain: 1. Plane was hijacked by someone who secured access to FMS. 2. Plane was sabotaged and codes changed without knowledge of pilots. 3. Catastrophic event led pilots to turn plan around and recoding created confusion that led to crash. I still believe the Flight System could have been jammed or preprogrammed as an act of sabotage against a vocal opposition leader, Captain Shah. This could have occurred before the pilots boarded the plane. Or it could be part of a wellplanned orchestrated maneuver. Experts need to explore all evidence that might lead to motives for this detour and probable crash. The FBI has the flight simulator so we should know if any unusual routes were erased from the computer. Another interpretation of the flight path simulations is that the pilot was concerned about sabotage and considered alternate landing sites(Why was Malaysian military so obstructive?) A full review of all of the data secured from the homes of the captain and co-captain is necessary. Experienced pilots reject the remote access theory. I do not. However without all of the intel, it is very hard to firm up ANY scenario. We may get the black box before this analysis is completed if this debris is from Flight 370.
