“Authority cannot be Substituted” 1Pe 2:13-17, “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lords sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.” How can you understand God, the kingdom of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or his plan if you don’t understand authority? There is a natural order of authority whether in the home, Church, community, state, country, and world, and if one is out of sorts, then they are all out of line. It all starts in the understanding of authority and what are we to do with it. Men are supposed to be less emotional than women when dealing with things, because it creates order, understanding, and provides safety and structure. Many do not realize that Eve was driven by her emotions when she was deceived, but Adam was held accountable because he was the authority. Adam did what we see most people doing today when the natural use of authority is usurped, misused and misplaced, we place blame. Discipline/Authority has been taken away from the home, and society is paying the price for a child that grows into a man whom does not know nor respect authority. But it is a two way street with connecting side streets. We also see what happens when authority is abused, bought, substituted, and switched, we see stolen identity, death, murder, and no accountability. That doesn’t just go for the police, that’s on all levels, races, genders, cultures, and ages. Again we see lack of authority when the man leaves his family and leaves the woman with the responsibility of trying to teach a boy how to become a man. We see it again with men and women who are unwilling and afraid to step up and show boys and girls how to be men and women in the absence of authority. How do I know? Because we see boys and girls are walking around calling something obscene a fashion statement. We see children killing parents. We see boys trying to be girls and girls trying to be boys, We see children being friends with their parents. And the list goes on and on and on. The best way to wipe out a peoples future is destroy the children. If the enemy can convince you that you have no authority, are under no authority, don’t have to submit or respect authority, how to manipulate authority, how to abuse authority, or how to extort people by using authority you get a people afraid to say anything, do anything, or believe anything while falling for everything.
