Autumn inspiration! I wanted to continue my Autumn spirit the other day after I pulled out our box of fall decorations and decorated our house... And I really wanted to paint... It dawned on me - Drew Bates and Joys sweet Bentley buried under mounds of leaves. I have held on to this picture for a while in hopes I could use it in my art. (Hope thats okay, Drew!!) :-D I was going to continue this painting to try to make it more detailed and depth, but I literally keep walking by it and thinking its perfect in its abstract form! Sooo, I will keep thinking about it, but I am still trying to learn when something is done, its done! This photograph of the painting doesnt do it justice, but I LOVE the colours!! Yes, summer is only just over with - but bring on the crisp dewey mornings, the reds, the golds, the grey fluffy clouds, the pumpkins and hay bails, and the sweater (but not yet a coat) weather!!
