The APGA Leadership in Anambra state have queried the APC in Anambra state and their minority leader in the Anambra state House of Assembly Mr Tony Muonagor attack and criticizing the decision of Anambra state government to name the state University after Dim Ojukwu. APC said that Ojukwu did not deserve the renaming and that Anambra government should named the University after Chinua Achebe. APGA questioned APC leaders in Anambra that If University of Ife in Osun state could be named after late Obafemi Awolowo whose hunger policy caused the starving to death of three million Biafrans during the Nigeria/Biafra; why is APC criticizing Gov Obi for naming Anambra state University after Dim Ojukwu? Geneva convention of 1964 made a declaration that hunger policy I.e blockade of foods and starving of the civilians population ( women and children) to death in any war is a war crime yet APC-controlled states and their surrogates still celebrate Late Obafemi Awolowo! Why does APC think they can dictate for Anambra? APC did not find anything wrong with fixing their official campaign flag-off on the day the annual Ofala festival of Igwe Achebe is taking place. Can APC fix a campaign rally in Lagos on a day Oba of Lagos is doing any festival, even on his birthday?
