BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY SOCIAL DANCING! Ok class, as you know we are dancing at Brook Fete on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 May, 1-4pm. There will be three spots for showing off our moves with DJ June, at 1pm, 2pm and 3.45pm... in between well head for the Pimms tent! Please message me if you are coming. Here are the details... see you there! Sheridan xx DANCING AT BROOK FETE BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 26 MAY Come and dance at one of the nicest, friendliest village fetes in Surrey! All details for our dancing day out are below - including address and parking info. Please come along and enjoy some social dancing to help spread the word about our classes and about dancing! Last year they had Morris dancing, and this year it’s Lindy Hop so let’s show them how much fun we can have! 26 May is also World Lindy Hop Day! ARRIVE: by 12.45pm. Meet in front of the Pirrie Hall (the central pavilion in the grounds). First dance 1pm 2nd dance 2pm 3rd dance 3.30 In between - Pimms and socialising The organisers have asked if we can be flexible with timing as things don’t always go to plan, with dog show, other displays, English weather etc. Dress code Men - Hawaiian shirts! (My personal favourite dance wear for the guys! I know you all have one. Or three.) Women - flowers in your hair! What to bring: Brook Fete has a Pimms and Beer tent so bring CASH. Bottle of water Hat and sunscreen FLYERS for dance classes, camps and gigs! Address: The Pirrie Hall, Brook, A286, Godalming, Surrey GU8 5UJ , opposite the Dog and Pheasant pub. If you are coming from Guildford, take A3 to Milford roundabout and join A286 there, follow signs to Haslemere (NOT Petworth) Parking: Brook Fete is popular and parking can be limited. Parking is also one of the ways they raise money, so if anyone wants a lift let me know, or come to my house first and we can car pool!
