BENSOUDA PRESENT FAKE AND WRONG DOC TO COURT TO NAIL DP RUTO Saturday October 19, 2013 -International Criminal Court (ICC)Prosecutor, Fatou Benouda, and her prosecution team were on the receiving end yesterday after they presented wrong and fake documents to court as evidence against Deputy President, William Ruto, and radio Journalist, Joshua Arap Sang. The prosecution had a rough time defending the falsified documents which they poached from the Commission Investigating the Post Election Violence (CIPEV), which was chaired by, Justice Phillip Waki. The dates in the documents, where Ruto and Sang allegedly committed crimes against humanity during the 2007/08 post election violence, did not tally as some dates indicated Ruto and Sang committed the atrocities in 2012 contrary to Bensouda’s case, which holds that the two committed crimes during the 2007/2008 PEV. The prosecution however admitted that they copy pasted the Waki report and that they could not confirm or deny anything in the report. This only confirmed Ruto/ Sang’s worst fears that Bensouda did not carry out any investigations and only relied on rumours and reports from civil societies to nail them at The Hague.
