May 4th 5:00 PM -------------------------------- Jenny Schuler is an emerging artist in the Chicago area and is excited to be performing once again with Verismo Opera Theatre. A proud Chicagoan, she received her master’s degree in vocal performance from Roosevelt University, CCPA in 2012. Most recently she performed the role of Line and Lenora in the Danish opera: Maskarade in January 2014 with VOX 3 Collective. In addition Jenny recently co-produced and performed in Chicago Opera Initiative’s first production, A Night of American Opera in early November, 2013. Her previous roles include: Prima Cercatrice in Suor Angelica, and Nella (cover) in Gianni Schicchi with Main Street Opera, Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte, and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with Roosevelt CCPA. Other recent engagements include an ensemble role in Nabucco with da Corneto Opera, La Traviata with Verismo Opera Theater, and Spectacle Lunatique with Redmoon and American Chamber Opera.
