BLESSED VIRGIN MARY Mary the mother of Christ Jesus is the chosen woman prepared by God as the person through whom salvation will get to the world. Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of salvation to the world of humanity. Mary has been pre-destined as a devotee of God service. But we have to understand that she was an ordinary person that had received favors from God. Luk 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, Luk 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary. Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. This means that Mary has been uplifted from the human mundane state to a heavenly spiritual understanding. Even angel Gabriel honoured Mary for the spiritual endowment that God has bestowed on her. The magnitude of blessing God has given on to her is immeasurable because angel Gabriel said “blessed are thou among women’’ indicating that all other women are blessed but her blessing supersede all. Brethren, let’s not be ignorant about these mysteries and be condemned by blaspheming. Remember also the word of God concerning Mary; Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. She has been anointed before creation to be the bearer of our saviour Christ Jesus. Despite that, she has been accredited the mother of the world. Remember the twelve stars represent the twelve tribes of Israel and the crown means an honour of heavenly queenship. The sun symbolizes glorious light of Christ embedded in her and the moon is the symbol of Mary’s humility on planet earth. She humbled herself even unto the death of Christ on the cross of calvary. Also, Mary is such a charismatic woman, specifically an intercessor. Remember the wedding feast at Cana; Joh 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Joh 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. Joh 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. Father, we thank you for the word of understanding unto thy servant. AMEN !!
