BLOW YOUR TRUMPET, DON’T BE A PUPPET! Science and technology have not yet developed how cameras can capture indwelling human abilities, skills, and potentials of created beings. No surveillance technique or technology can detect human prowess and talents. For science and scientists, this appears to be a quixotic quest. Any scientific submission out there claiming such is a grandstanding guess work. Technology can only capture the face and inner anatomical images of the organs in the body of a talented man. That is all, for now, technology can do. How then do people know what God has naturally endowed you to do? One, you tell people what you can do. Two, you actually do what you claim you have the ability to do. When you tell people what you can do, you are not been flatly arrogant or falsely arrogating, you are just been brilliant. There are people around you who need your skill and all of them may not know what that it is. Announce yourself! Publicize yourself! Showcase your resume! Present your case and show forth your argument! (Isaiah 41:21). Goliath from Gath would have continued to terrorize God’s people if David had not told Saul what he had the ability to do. (1 Samuel 17). Apostle Paul had to introduce himself with boldness as an Apostle of Jesus to a people who were skeptical (Ephesians 1:1, Phil 3:5; 4:13). They never knew he had the oratorical and people-galvanizing abilities until he let them know what he could do. They never knew that he was the true apostle that would resolve all puzzles. My sister and brother, someone out there needs your skill. A government out there needs your skill. A president out there needs your skill. A governor out there needs your skill. A business magnate out there needs your skill. A nation out there needs your skill-set. By not promoting yourself, you are demoting yourself. You may only have to do what you can do once for the world to see, and forever you are settled. Thereon, People who did not know of you will now be looking for you. It is not humility to keep quiet about your natural skills, it is foolishness. Why are you doing that to yourself if the world isn’t doing it to you? Why? So, get up and announce yourself and heaven will join in announcing you! Blow your trumpets, stop being a puppet! And when you do, please, do so with Godly modesty. Fola Ojo
