BREAD SEEKERS , LET’S GO A FISHING Our Sunday school Superintendent discussed an issue with us sometimes :, he then told us of a woman whose problem took her to the church and she was prayed for and to God be the glory , the sickness was healed and started fellowshipping with the saints for a while and later disappeared . Some of the members then went to her house to ask why she has not been coming to church ;she replied’’ they should leave her alone ‘’ if one goes to LUTH , UCH or any Hospital .. Will one stays on the seek bed after being healed .. So ,she came for healing, she never loves the master, and they should leave her alone ………….haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Can we say we are better than this woman ? In MATTEW 15 Verse 32 ….. Jesus had compassion for his followers and he fed them with loaves and bread to their satisfaction, and they all went away . Later these set were eager to see Jesus , seeking for his whereabouts , and JESUS knew their mind , the crowd remembered how they ate bread and fish with left over , so they could not afford to miss another free loaves of bread and fish , they taught once they see the master , their problem about feeding is solved , so they are less concerned about his sermon on the mount , they are less concern about his parables for them to apply on their daily lives , when they realized, loaves and bread were not forth coming they were withdrawing one by one from the camp ……….. and Jesus noticed and ask the rest ,, do you want to leave as well .. And they replied ,.. ‘’Master we have no place to go ‘’……………… The kingdom of God and teaching of JESUS is gradually diminishing in peoples’ heart today , loving the master’s gift but hate his word and teachings , loving the master’s blessings but hate his instructions and warnings The message carriers have changed the gospel to that of bread alone, seeking for prosperity, seeking for blessings while majority are disobeying God and wallowing in sin During the just concluded The Apostolic church convention , the lord Instructed our father to pronounce blessing on the saints and that everyone should come for blessing .. it was amazing that the place was filled to its capacity …hummmmmmmmmmmmmm So many lied to be permitted in the office while some might fought their ‘’ oga at the top ‘’ for not allowing them to partake in the service of blessings . However, two day before then, a power message in which all youths and those that desired to live an holy live ought not to miss, suffered huge attendance, the auditorium was scanty .. Sincerely, I so much believe in divine blessings from God and I have witnessed such in my live as well , but one thing we must understand is that ‘’ there are kingdom principles and due process to be followed for divine blessings and we have diverted from the great commission the lord has given unto us while so many are dying in sin on daily basis . Look at the souls sent to their early grave through insurgents or other forms of accident this year alone ; all we could do is to come for thanksgiving because we were not a victim . If all of us come out en mass propagating this gospel ; we may have less problem in the society , we may have less robbery cases, you can close your eyes when you sleep in your house , Rather, we celebrate ourselves and seeking for peoples’ applause and comments when souls are dying in sin …….. We should question some peoples’ faith and believe, someone should be questioned if he or she has really submitted his or her live? hhhaaaaaaaa; someone should be questioned what he or she is doing on the net ‘’ adding value or what ? If the members are less concern what of those that have separated their time for the gospel? We are less concern once we can buy our own Jeep, nothing concern us, and the era of unnecessary spending has come , celebrating unnecessary events ? How much have we budgeted for tracts and evangelism materials? The era of Pharisees and Sadducee in the church, so many are not happy about some events but they pretended as if everything is okay t so that they won’t be posted to the villages or deny promotion ? What explanation can someone give having pleasure in fleet of cars , Jeeps, celebrating birthday etc. in a church where we have local farmers , people selling pepper , and some that could not even send their wards to standard school while their counterparts are riding motor bikes in the Northern state dying searching for souls ? What explanation for celebrating events when the end time signs are ringing bell to our hearing and we pretended as if all is well Let us wake up to the assignment that lord has given to all of us ……….’’THEREFOR GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL ANTION ‘’ …….. I am not talking about church planting in which the objectives and goals are to make more assemblies for more returns to the Headquarters , we are talking about repented souls won for Christ , those that are thirty for righteousness and looking forward to making heaven ………. Remember as it was in the days of Noah , people are busy drinking and eating until flood came and took them away .. Let us have passion for these souls being sent into hell on daily basis; enough of these jamborees and parties when we are not sure of the numbers that are genuinely born again under our roofs ……Let ‘s rise up , tell someone today via text messages or internet about Christ , let your neighbors know more about Christ , let stop seeking for bread alone …..Lead someone to Christ ; we have been commissioned for a great assignment …..May the Lord help us as we set out for this assignment .if we are willing and obedient we shall eat the fruits of the land .
