Saturday, 20th of December 2014 In pursuit of the actualization of the Uvwiamughe Declaration, an urgent meeting was conveyed today, saturday, 20th December 2014. The meeting started at about 7:20am and lasted till about 9:15am.Those in attendance included Urhobo sons and daughters from the various Local governments. One of such personalities in attendance was ABIYEMI GABARI from Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, ABIYEMI happens to be the CEO of (GABRUNEFE NIG. LTD). An inside source who agreed to speak only on the condition of anonymity said it was agreed upon that one of the two illustrious sons of the Urhobo Nation has to step down for the other. i.e (Chief Great Ogboru and Olorogun Ortega Emerho) .It was gathered that after much deliberations, ABIYEMI GABARI and his counterparts endorsed Chief Great Ogboru who happens to be the Labour Party Governorship flag bearer . Quoting ABIYEMI GABARI, he said despite the fact that he belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party, he remains a true son of the Urhobo Nation and has the course of the Urhobo Nation at heart It was agreed upon that those who happens to be in the PDP, including ABIYEMI wouldnt not be at the forefront but will play the role of the man behind the scene and ensure an Urhobo man emerges as the governor of Delta State in 2015. ABIYEMI GABARI however tendered an unreserved apology to the Urhobo Nation and other delegates from the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) for not promoting the Urhobo dream when he associated himself with Anthony Chuks Obuh. ABIYEMI GABARI however promised to defend the Uvwiamughe Declaration.
