BREAKING NEWS UPDATE (Thursday, 9:15 a.m.) -- This is an update to the information released on Wednesday by the Dallas Police department regarding two stolen handguns associated with local teens. Late Wednesday afternoon, investigators developed information as to the whereabouts of the final missing handgun. Shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, the missing handgun was located and recovered by Dallas officers. This information was shared with Dallas School District administration late Wednesday night. The final person of interest has yet to be located; however, detectives are continuing to follow a variety of investigative leads.
