BREAKING: TOOTLES THE TURTLE HAS MAJOR NEO-ADVAITA MISHAP Remember Tootles the turtle? Help…Mr. Wizard? This story is about ego, the fear, the production of ‘content’ that became a tragedy in THIS. Yet, like Shakespeare, even as tragedy, it is ‘Entertainment’ and ‘Content’ worthy of the Mother Tucker seal of approval. Tootles saw an ad for a seminar on neo-non-duality. What could possibly go wrong? He found the ideas regarding non-duality rather intriguing. More intriguing to Tootles was the huge crowd that paid the hefty entrance fee. A quick mental calculation and he saw big time ‘Ka ching. Tootles went through the indoctrination so as to get an ‘idea’ of the nature of non-duality. It was an impersonal nothingness, non person-hood, with non-existence as a primary first causal agent. Tootles was very smart. Too smart. He had an ace no one had. He had Mr. Wizard. Mr. Wizard could send him directly into the heart of non-duality. That would give him an edge over the other neo-advaitin teachers, hawking their products. Direct Experience. More powerful. Mr. Wizard said, “My son, you must realize the inherent dangers in this endeavor. You are not ready for the full experience of non-duality. Your ego may take your ideas of what it thinks is non-duality and any experiences you have while inside the non-duality will assume the shape of what your ego expects to see as non-duality. That is the nature of non-duality. Tootles didn’t give a rat’s ass about some old wizards advice regarding approaching the non-dual in his current state of mind.
