BURDEN OF LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATIONS, & POLITICAL LEADERSHIP : IMO WEST (ORLU ZONE) SENATORIAL DISTRICT IN FOCUS... Imo State, like other States of the Federation ,has three Senatorial Districts namely : Imo West-Orlu Zone,Imo East-Owerri Zone, & Imo North -Okigwe Zone....These Districts,or Zones have had Senatorial Representations since Independence....But my focus is on the SCORECARD OF DISTINGUISHED SENATOR HOPE UZODINMA (ONWA OYOKO NA OMUMA).... However, it will amount to academic laxity if efforts, no matter how little, are not made to list the Senatorial Representations in the Imo West Senatorial District...The records are: a)Senator(Igwe) Acholonu-Oru East/Orsu/Orlu Federal Constituency...b) Senator (Dr) Elijah Emeziem-Isu/Njaba/Nkwerre/Nwangele Federal Constituency...c) Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe -Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency...d) Senator (Alhaji) Nnani Maduagwu -Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency....Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe -1997(Not inaugurated),1999-2007....Senator Osita B.Izunaso-Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency...Senator Hope Uzodinma -2011-Date.... Its clear from the analysis that the IDEATO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY Has not had any representations as per the SENATE...GLEEFULLY, One of their illustrious Sons,OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA Is the EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR, IMO STATE, Which enormous political privilege on the IDEATO NATION Has attempted, or healed the wounds,& scars of this Senatorial imbalance... Having so appraised, let me state that I was opposed frontally to the rumoured aspirations of Senator Hope Uzodinma for the Governorship of Imo State...My opposition isnt because hes not qualified, or lacked the Constitutional Rights to so aspire,but on basis,& ground of EQUITY, FAIRNESS, EQUALITY OF ALL SENATORIAL ZONES IN IMO STATE...I was so obsessed with this rumoured aspirations that I secured the collaborations of countless Bloggers,Writers,Commentators to condemn the thought... Now,I have been proven wrong because Senator Hope Uzodinma never mandated anybody to fly the kite of Governorship for him...Even as I led the groups against him,it was consistently suggested that Senator Hope Uzodinma should seek another opportunity, & fresh mandate to go back to the SENATE... DOES SENATOR HOPE UZODINMA DESERVE A SECOND TERM? The response is in the affirmative, especially in considerations of his epochal, groundswell human empowerments beyond his Senatorial District....Its only the Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, CON who has responsible SCORECARD IN LIMITLESS EMPOWERMENT LIKE SENATOR HOPE UZODINMA.... Again, its only the DUO OF IHEDIOHA, & UZODINMA Who sustained the PDP upon the loss of political power in 2011 in Imo State... Also,its incontrovertible that the Jonathan Presidency has boundless accomplishments in AVIATION...This made super possible by the collaboration, & effective legislative oversight anchored by Senator Hope Uzodinma as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, plus the cooperation of the Leadership of the National Assembly...Its commendable, even as Senator Hope Uzodinma is not a Ranking Member of the Senate.... Senator Hope Uzodinma is a genuine philanthropist,especially as he gives without media hype, & colouration.... Now,as Senator Hope Uzodinma declares for, & as well picks his Expression of Interest, as well as Nomination Forms,its required of him,as a Leader with enormous capacity, goodwill to align with the Owerri Zone in its deserved quest for Governorship in Imo State...This will etch his name in immortality as a Patriot, Statesman, & Detribalized Nigerians.... Though not part of this, its my convictions that the Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, CON should be encouraged to emerge as the next. Governor, Imo State in considerations of his enormous goodwill, political /administrative experience /exposure,verifiable records of accomplishments in empowerments, projects, unblemished, unimpeachable character /integrity,plus enormous Federal Power @ this disposal without the involvement of a Third Party...These are electoral benefits needed urgently by the Imo PDP, & the Imo Electorates in 2015.... And much more important, design a reliable process of succession to the IDEATO CLAN In order to assuage their genuine, long -standing grudge of marginalization as the Senatorial Representations.... Yes,& truly, Imo State, & in deed,Nigeria must be rescued from the clutches of underdevelopments, backwardness, & wickedness.... It must be stated here,that this commentary is dedicated to the DUO OF THE RT HON Goodluck Opiah ,& HON PRINCE EUGENE DIBIAGWU, Who convinced me,& the BOYS/MEN TO RETURN TO YOU EN MASSE....Its a Call on Senator Hope Uzodinma to review his relationship with the Oil Producing Communities of Imo State NOW....THIS IS OUR COLLECTIVE DEMAND AS WE PARTNER NOW... CONGRATULATIONS, SENATOR HOPE UZODINMA..... CONGRATULATIONS, PDP... GOODLUCK NIGERIA...
