BUSHRANGER GM TO TAKE THE REINS In what can only be described as “outlaw necessity”, the Olinda Bushrangers have cut head coach Brian Cardinal from the gang, merely one game into the Section 8 Superleague and have made the widely criticised, yet quietly, applauded decision on returning current GM Sean Carroll to the sidelines. Carroll, who will continue with his fully hectic GM duties, was very excited about coaching his beloved Bushrangers. “We only hired that jackass because I thought the other GM’s would stay drinking beer with me. Once I saw they others pacing the sidelines; I knew the S8SL had reached a whole new level and an experienced leader would be required; so naturally, I approached Phil Jackson”. “Turns out the old codger only does home games in LA, so I decided next best option was myself -game on gentlemen.” Bushranger players were slightly confused about this article, with many claiming they never met the coach. In other Bushranger news the outlaws have come to terms with their final free agent in Mike Runchey. Mike is hoping to clear league paperwork before tonight feature clash with the St Thomas More’s Spartans at 8:45pm on court one at SBC.
