BUSHWACKERY – Comedy Nights @ The Bush Bar On Friday 27th June, The Bush Bar and Big Oak Productions will be bringing some of the wackiest acts in Irish and UK Stand –Up and Musical Comedy to Enniskillen. This new comedy hotspot will be in The Bush each and every month. This week’s line-up includes : Alison Spittle(Dublin) who has supported acts including: David ODoherty, Maeve Higgins,Des Bishop, P.J Gallagher, Bernard OShea, Andrew Maxwell, Jessie Cave, Karl Spain and Barry Murphy Current Show Me The Funny finalist. Of her recent show Stoat Toast Le Cool Magazine wrote, Alisons ability to artfully weave comedy through her stories, will leave you feeling like youve had a phenomenal chat, filled with a ream of personal in-jokes, uttered from an energetic but friendly stranger. She’s great.” - Irish Times T.V credits include various appearances on Republic of Telly, RTE New Comedy Awards and a TV3 documentary on stand up comedy that will s broadcast for Christmas2014 and a comedy panel show on RTE in September.. AIison is also a regular contributoron to major radio stations in Ireland including, RTE Radio One, 2FM, Newstalk, Phantom and I Radio. Adam Cullen(Naas), one of the most exciting comedians working in Ireland today. Adam has taken his unique brand of musical comedy throughout the UK and Ireland where he has performed alongside many of the top performers on the Irish comedy scene. He was the Paddy Laughs Champion 2011, a finalist in the Ards Comedy Competition 2012 and Tedfest 2014. Rory McSwiggan ( Omagh) Rory branched out into solo stand up work after a number of years of appearing with James King in a surrealist art and poetry concrete duo. Delivering some of this inheritance in his solo work, McSwiggan’s views on the not so bygone ‘troubles’ has to be heard to be believed. Debbie Greaves (Australia) is a newcomer to the comedy scene in Ireland but her unique perspectives on the world around us will have many of you howling with laughter. The night will be MC’d by Diane O’Connor who is rapidly building an impressive reputation throughout Ireland. a stand up and Improviser comedian.
