BY : Johns Hopkins University Global Water Turn rainwater into safe, drinking water • Allow water to pass through a clean piece of cloth then boil for 3 minutes. • Collect water in empty, transparent, plastic containers such as .. bottles and expose to the sun for at least 6 hours on a sunny day or 48 hours on a cloudy day. • Add 2 tablespoons of dayap or calamansi to 2 liters of water and let stand for 30 minutes. • Add 2 drops of Clorox bleach to 1 liter of water and let stand for 30 minutes. • Add 5 drops of 2% iodine Betadine to 1 gallon water. ~ Im hoping that you wont need to use this but it pays to know!
