Back home again from beautiful Donegal, I really did enjoy seeing John Mcnicholl on Saturday evening, he put on a great night, good to meet up with lots of old friends and meeting a FBook friend for the first time, Michael Murphy, lovely to spend time with Michael as I already felt that I knew him..Went to see Patrick Feeney at Clonmany yesterday afternoon, weather wasnt kind but it didnt deter the dancers or the crowds, was a great atmosphere, we got very wet and went home to change, then decided to go back at around 8.45pm, the stewards were very kind at the Clonmany Festival and they let me park where I could stay in the car but still see the stage, my friends had a wander around for the evening while I enjoyed Robert Mizzell and his band and indulged in some people watching, the ages of the dancers just get younger every year, it was great to watch them. another year to wait now until the next one, feeling tired now and think an early night might be in order
