Back in May I designed this series of posters for CZ-Labs’ event ‘De kracht van het ambacht’ (power of the craft). Both A2 and A0 sized posters are preprinted in a black typographical layer, with three silkscreen printed layers added on top (in separated cyan, magenta and yellow halftone patterns). Aligned correctly, they give a variable duotone and full-color perception of the image, illustrating both the additive color printing process as well as the materials used to produce the actual posters. In collaboration with Guido de Boer and Carlien Peijsel. CZ-Labs is an experimental series of cultural events in Utrecht, showcasing the city’s creative developments.
