Back in The Big Smoke again, after an absolutely awesome end to a remarkably tough year. My huge and heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful, loving, and beautiful people, who have selflessly helped me to weather the storm, and who have stood by me through thick and thin. Too many to mention, but very special thanks and huge love and hugs to Danny Woodley, Sheetal Patel, Anita Norris, Susie Weeks, Claire Jones, Katy Grant, Roberto Abbonizio, Charlotte Abbonizio Rob Dodson David Ferrand, Robert McCartney, Julia McCartney, Kate McCartney, Anna McCartney, Natasha Jermyn Plowright, Frankie Jermyn Plowright, Stella Chetham and many others, who I am honoured and proud to call friends. With many thanks for a wonderful Christmas and New Year to my incredible friends Rob Dodson, Lore Defrancq, baby Ella Min, Bryson, Badger, Milo and Wesley (the coolest cat in the world), and to Steven Cuypers (and his hot girlfriend!) Jamie Hendriksen, Esther Ruiter, Brandon Barbour, Akira Gaymer, Cara, Keith Hellyer, Norbert Rottcher, Charlotte Anderson, and others too numerous to name. What a wonderful two weeks with amazing and beautiful people in Rukinga (Tsavo) and Takaungu /Kilifi on the glorious Kenya Coast. Now home and unpacked and starting the very exciting process of selling stuff, shipping stuff, and heading off in April / May to my new home in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles. Many new safaris and adventures await. Potentially incredible client bases in the U.S. and the Far East to develop and nurture. New destinations to explore all over the world - North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Hawaii, the Galapagos, Indonesia, the Himalayas, India etc. etc. The rest of Africa too. I will always, first and foremost, promote Kenya, the land I love and know so well. It still has the best all-round safari product in the whole of Africa, in my opinion. I will be sad to visit, for the last time in a while, the Nairobi graves of my Great-Grandmother, and my paternal grandparents, who started the McCartney odyssey in this incredible country nearly a century ago. May their souls rest in peace, and their resting places not be concreted over in the name of development........Ill be back in Kenya one day, thats for very sure. In the meantime, I cant wait for the rest of 2015 to happen. Its been great so far! :-) :-)
