Back in the 80s when we jammed, Bob (The Greek god of Rock) asked me which time signature I wanted to hear in which limb. I rattled of four unusual ones (7/8, 5/4, 12/8 and probably 4/4 to go easy on him). So as he was playing these all simultaneously (one in each limb), he said while still playing, Well, that sounds pretty good, but check it out if I switch my left foot with my right hand. Bobby Rock, I bow to your supreme polyrhythmicity.
