Back lit from the sharp warming winter sun. Light shines through - TopicsExpress

Back lit from the sharp warming winter sun. Light shines through the Seagulls wing feathers while it shimmers and floats in the January-breeze. Cutting across the cove west to east, turning low to skim the surface water. Light filtering through every motion. With exacting precision it flares to stall, settling on to the rocks at the water line. The point of confluence between life the land, sea and the days pure never ending glowing blue peaceful sky. At the edge of this marvel of natures architecture, the point at which the sea becomes free of the land. It races to the rocks, breaking into crystals that float momentarily glistening. They then fall through the low sun light, sparkling against that seamless sky and ocean bluing into forever. Cliffs shining white challenge the bright sun, throwing light back into the space. Green, velvet green is the coat of moss and grass that caps natures conflicting stone as it offends the glinting challenge of the sea. I stand, briefly as I live in the moment. Free and unique to comprehend all. Puny and ineffective against those stalwarts of time. I draw my thoughts and merge with this timeless scene that has lasted for many tens of thousands of years. Fossilised are my emotions that confirm existence upon all. The sound of friction meets my ears, beach stones roll with each ensuing wave, telling of that old conflict. The show that eternally wages for the dominance of water over rock under an ever changing sky. Only for a moment observed with stilling wonder by a man. Behind me from high upon the cove cliff, I catch the scent of Fox. Having witnessed all, an old dark and greying Dog Fox stands to withdraw from the scene that holds all life within its earthly stage.
